June 6, 2004–Respected holistic practitioners and Western physicians will be discussing the latest ideas on alternative and complementary approaches to American citizens’ health, discussing specific health problems in detail, and allowing them to observe and experience the alternatives first-hand.

The New York Open Center has joined forces with the Continuing Education & Public Programs at the City University?s Graduate Center to present this two-day Health Fair to bring visitors expert practitioners of holistic/integrative healing philosophies who will explore, in depth, the positive social impact of a holistically-aware society, Physicians and practitioners will share the latest information on hormone therapy, Ayurvedic medicine, HIV/AIDS, acupuncture, health & beauty, and herbology.

Additional topics include: pain, stress, and depression management; healthful, natural weight control; and complementary systems for supporting the autoimmune system. The Fair is for both practitioners and the general public.
