Warning! Dieting Can Be Harmful, But A Recent Discovery Provides Amazing Permanent Weight Loss Results Without “Dieting”

LOVELAND, CO May 13, 2004 — The new Gross Out Diet introduces a highly endorsed, successful weight loss plan that does not include “dieting” or taking pills. The unique program uses the ONLY principles supported by the U.S. Government and universities for long-term, non-surgical weight loss success.

Obesity has become a national epidemic, affecting 65% of adults and also many children. Unfortunately, diets do not work for long-term weight loss. Diets only complicate matters for the individual while lowering self-esteem and creating life-time emotional instability.

The Gross Out Diet works by conditioning the mind to say “no” to food using photographs that cause a negative reaction to the very thought of overeating. If a person becomes disgusted with the thought of eating at the moment of their craving, the craving suddenly transforms into a successful “weight loss moment” for the individual. When practiced consistently, and correctly, the person begins to have a new mindset toward food, and life in general, resulting in long-term, successful weight loss.

Studies by the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force reveal that behavioral therapy, the basis for the Gross Out Diet, when combined with counseling is the most effective non-surgical method for losing weight and keeping it off.

The Gross Out Diet also offers counseling through Cheryl Willis, who has trained over the past 25 years with Tony Robbins and Landmark Education. Having coached hundreds of people with the need for weight loss, Cheryl understands and can help resolve the underlying issues that cause a person to be out of control with their eating habits.

Man Loses 80 Pounds From McDonald’s Food? Huh?

Yeah, when I read that headline, I must say it was a little more than just a tad misleading, and thought, oh yeah he probably only ate their salads, and not what they’re known for which is their sinfully salty and fatty food that leaves you full for all of two hours, like french fries (admittedly one of my favorite naughty eats), double cheeseburgers and fried fish sandwiches to name a few.  And I was right, he ate the less fattening foods on the menu and lost 80 pounds eventually from doing that by a period of date.

Supposedly the man, named Chris Coleson, who hails from Virginia, ate nearly every separate meal at McDonalds to lose the weight, and chose Mickey D’s considering of it’s convenience.  The fact that you can find a McDonalds everywhere made it an nearly constant for him, and he was able to find foods on the menu that were less offensive and eat those.

His foods of choice for losing the 80 pounds on McDonalds were the salads, apple dippers without the sauce (what fun is that though), and the snack wraps, which I believe still contain deep fried chicken tenders but are still the lesser of many other evils that can be chosen from.

Rejuvenation and the Protein Revolution in Your Kitchen?2003 Marilyn Diamond

If you?re like me, you want to see some serious rejuvenation when you look in the mirror. But you?re not interested in Botox, chemical peels, micro-dermabrasion, lypo-suction, jaw and cheek implants and all the other pricey, temporary, somewhat invasive ?solutions.?

If you?re like me, I?m sure you spend at least a few minutes everyday making sure you?re getting your protein. Who isn?t focused on protein these days?

There?s a protein revolution going on. It?s happening in the chic restaurants in Santa Monica, California, where diet revolutions take birth. Hollywood stars with the prettiest skin and most slender, taut-muscled bodies are into it. Celebrity chefs are racing to master it. And web commerce businesses that push it are thriving.

It?s the rage in Boston, the buzz in Miami, and it?s spreading like wildfire from San Diego to Wichita to Philadelphia, PA.

You may as well jump on the bandwagon. It?s going to overtake everything else in the diet world in the months and years to come. Why wait?

Why not be the first in your group to look like you just came from one of those $25,000 health spa experiences that took twenty-five pounds and twenty-five years off your life?

If you?re worn out from the struggle to lose those annoying bulges, this is your kind of revolution. If you want to go to the jean size you wore when you know you looked your best, now?s the time.

All you have to do is eat sprouts for protein.

Sprouts for protein? Who ever heard of that?

It?s not a fad, really. Before we had fire, we knew the value of sprouting grains, legumes and seeds. We knew instinctively that Nature had created them as potent nutritional bundles of health and energy. Without science at our disposal to tell us what we needed, we automatically germinated and sprouted these concentrated natural sources of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids. We built our bodies on them.

Hung up on protein?

Amino acids are proteins in their most digestible form. Pound for pound, lentils and other sprouted beans give you as much protein as red meat, chicken or fish, with none of the fat, cholesterol, hormones, anti-biotics, and dangerous rendered feed residues found in animal proteins today.

Not to mention the cost.

The lentils and other beans you sprout in your kitchen cost just pennies per pound. Think about this next time you pull $10.00 out your wallet for a small package of skinless, boneless chicken breasts or fish fillets.

Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to rejuvenate?

Just this month, try something different. Grow fresh protein in your kitchen.

Simply purchase a pound of red or green lentils or mung beans. You?ll find them in packages in your supermarket or in bulk in your favorite natural food store.

Measure out about a cup and soak them overnight in a covered container. Drain them in your colander and rinse them well to be sure you washed off all the natural inhibitors that keep them from sprouting until you need them to sprout. Now leave them right in the colander, on your kitchen counter, spreading them out a little so they don?t clump together.

And watch what happens.

In only a few hours to just about a day, lentils and mung beans will start to grow little tails. As they begin to sprout, rinse them occasionally, and you?ll see a miniature, kitchen garden of tiny, power-packed, living plants. When the tails are just barely visible, place the sprouts in an airtight container and store them in your fridge. They?ll continue to sprout more slowly.

If rejuvenating weight loss is your goal, this is the clean, fat-free, practically instantly-absorbed protein you want for a beautiful body.

Now once, or twice a day, if you?re motivated, add your sprouts to your salad. I say twice a day, because, like me, you may love this revolutionary high-protein, power-packed meal so much, you?ll occasionally want it that often.

Not only for the slenderizing protein, but also for the abundance of vitamins and minerals, in readily available, economical form.

Here?s how I make one of my REVOLUTIONARY HIGH PROTEIN SALADS:

I mix my dressing directly into a large salad bowl, using twice as much fine quality olive oil as lemon juice, and adding some coarse Celtic sea salt, whisking this mixture into a creamy slenderizing dressing.

Now I add plenty of ripe, sliced tomatoes and some chopped basil, mint and thyme. The tomatoes and herbs macerate while I prepare the rest of the salad. I finely chop my favorite greens ? baby spinach, mesclun, baby lettuces, romaine, butter or Boston lettuce, so they absorb lots of the dressing. I thin-slice unpeeled cucumbers and radishes. They add the silicon and sulfur I need for healthy hair, skin and nails. Sometimes, I toss in lots of oil cured olives, high in protein and fatty acids, and low in salt.

Time to add the sprouts from my kitchen harvest, about ? to one cup per person.

Time to toss and toss to insure my REVOLUTIONARY HIGH PROTEIN SALAD is really well blended and combined. It should be like a live chop suey. I serve an ample portion, and eat it slowly, chewing well to appreciate the textures and flavors of living protein for my living body.

Are you sick and tired of how the years take their toll on your health? Are you bored and frustrated with all the confusing and contradictory diet fads and trends? Would you enjoy having so much energy you practically never run out? How about having the confidence to know each time you sit down to the dinner table that you?re preventing, rather than causing disease?

You can watch the pounds and decades literally melt from your body.

You can take a vacation from high fat and high cholesterol foods for protein, and avoid the dangerous microbes these contaminated food sources carry.

You can do it.

Thousands of people are already experiencing these results and benefits. The revolution is happening all around you.

Why wait to be a part of this positive, growing trend?

Fish-based fatty acids in preventing asthma

Asthma and allergic reactions have observed that a molecule produced by the body from omega-3 fatty acids helps resolve and prevent respiratory distress in laboratory mice. The research, supported by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health, was led by a research team at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School……..

Quit Smoking

All the tips and sources I could find to help me quit smoking
I want to quit smoking; it is something I’ve done for 25 years of my life. Nearly everyone in my family smokes. Of my three grown children, two smoke. I now have three little kids again and I don’t want them to smoke.

I’ve looked all over the web for help and tips and come up with quite a few resources. I’m going to share these with you plus some tips of my own I’ve learned from past attempts to quit.

Step One: Get ready.

Set a specific date. This makes it easy to celebrate your anniversary each year and it makes it real not something you’re going to do someday. Change your surroundings, remove ashtrays and lighters from your home, do it yourself or have carpets, drapes and furniture cleaned to remove the smoke smell. Clean all your clothes to remove tobacco smell. Toss out all matches and cigarettes. Make a list of all the reasons you want to quit. This will help shore up your resolve to make it last. Some reasons are, your health, decrease your chance of a heart attack or stroke or cancer. Quit to breathe easier, no coughing. Increase the health of your family; no second hand smoke around your children. You deserve a better healthier life. You owe it to your children to allow them a healthy life, they deserve their mom to be around and healthy and set them an example. Your teeth will be whiter, you will smell better smoking increases wrinkles and aging. You will have extra money, you will have more stamina for playing with your children or making love to your spouse. You will look and feel better. More time for you and family. Just think of the time that you waste looking for cigarettes, lighters or matches. The time you take out for smoke breaks.

Step Two: Get support

Tell everyone that you are quitting. Make sure family and friends know not to smoke around you. Visit your doctor. He can suggest local resources and prescribe medications. Visit your dentist to have your teeth cleaned. Seek out counseling or support groups in your area. Try quitting with a friend or spouse. Make it a bet. Set aside your cigarette money and whoever smokes first forfeits their ciggy money.

Step Three: Learn new skills and behavior.

Instead of lighting up, take a walk and fill your lungs with fresh air. Brush your teeth often and chew sugarless gum, the mintier the better. Suck on hard candies. Give yourself a fancy manicure; take up knitting to keep your hands busy during television watching. Join a health club. Visit the library or take your kids skating. Go places where smoking is not allowed. Write letters to friends or get a pen pal. Meditate or take a hot bubble bath to relax. Save your cigarette money for a spa trip. Plan something for every day. Keep yourself busy.

Step Four: Use medication.

Nicotine gum and the patch are available over the counter. Your doctor can prescribe Bupropin, the inhaler or the nasal spray. By using quit smoking aids you can double your chances of quitting for good.

Step Five: Be prepared for relapse and difficult situations.

Know that just because you are quitting doesn’t mean that life is on hold. Stressful situations are a part of living so plan ahead how you will handle them. Relapses happen, most non-smokers had to try two-three or more times before they quit for good. Nicotine is an addictive drug. To some people it can be just as addictive as cocaine or heroin. Allow that you are only human and start again from this moment forward. Re-read your list of reasons to quit. Reinforce yourself positively, you are a non-smoker, you deserve a longer, healthier life. Think of yourself as a non-smoker. If weight gain is a concern for you then keep loads of healthy snacks around, air popped corn, celery or carrot sticks, bran muffins, low-cal yogurt and pretzels are just a few. What caused your relapse last time, how will you handle it this time? Don’t be afraid to try something silly it may be what works. Try different combinations of suggestions and tips till you find what works for you.

Never give up. This is your life, take it back from the tobacco companies. They don’t care about you. Cigarettes should have been banned decades ago. You think they didn’t know how harmful cigarettes are, they did and they do but they still peddle them. Worse, they are now out to hook your kids just like they got you and you are their best marketing tool of all because you set the example for your children.

Here are some of the many resources on the web and some 800 numbers you can call for more information, tips, suggestion and help.

Fill Up on Soup Before Your Meal

Another concept came to me that’s been out there for a faraway moment about losing weight and using tricks to fill up on low calorie stuff so that you don’t totally go nuts when the main entree comes, and one of those towering standing tips to help lose weight or stay on track with your diet when you go out to eat is to order a broth based soup to come before your meal.  It has to be broth based though, considering the rich and thicker creamy ones are loaded with calories and fat (unfortunately the better soup tastes, the more fat it likely has, it’s that quandry mother nature put on us about fat and how poor it is for us, but how good it tastes).

So for example, whether you are choosing within a fancy bisque soup, and a beef broth based vegetable soup, you definitely need to go for the lighter of the two, the broth based veggie soup.  The broth will help fill the stomach, considering it is hot, and hot liquids prepare you feel fuller faster, and the saltiness and the veggies will plus help you feel fuller so that you don’t fill up on bread or your main entree and eat too much.

A salad before your meal can plus help, just manufacture certain it’s not loaded with cheese, croutons and a lot of heavy dressing.  Try ordering an oil based dressing, or a light vinagrette and that will help you to curb your starvation and fill you up before you get your main entree so that you can eat less.

The key is to manufacture certain the “meal before the meal” is light and not loaded with fat or carbs.  Typically fattening pre-meal foods are bread with butter, creamy soups, deep fried appetizers and other fattening or cream-laden appetizers that just pile on the fat and don’t really do much as far as taking up space in your stomach to compose you feel substantially satiated so that you don’t eat as much at your meal.

It’s hard to stick to these rules, particularly when you’re starving and are faced with a tempting, steaming basket of hot bread just waiting to be buttered and eaten, but whether you can stick to these most of the duration when you eat out, it adds up to lots of bonus points for maintaining that sleek physique you want.  The foods brought up here today act as a natural appetite suppressant so that you don’t go buckwild on the stuff that adds fat and pounds to your thighs and stomach.

A Clean Colon - Your way to optimal health

September 15, 2004 — Our digestive system is extremely underrated when it comes to body functions and how we treat them. In order for our digestive system to function properly it needs oxygen and lots of it in order to break down food and turn that food into energy. If we don’t have enough oxygen our digestive system can start to function poorly and thats when trouble starts. Over ninety per cent of all diseases are thought to begin in the colon. So keeping it clean and well oxygenated is more than just good sense; it is essential. Start oxygenating yourself and your health will improve.

Many people who have impacted matter affecting their colon can suffer from a wide range of illnesses and a general feeling of being unwell is commonplace with symptoms including tiredness, low energy, mood swings and of course an unclean colon can also lead to much more serious conditions such as candida overgrowth and even cancer.

By achieving a clean colon and oxygenating your digestive system you are giving toxic organisms such as candida no chance of thriving and causing further illness and suffering. The friendly bacteria that naturally fights these pesky organisms loves the environment of a properly oxygenated digestive system and colon. This allows the friendly ‘good’ bacteria to thrive while providing a hostile environment for the nasty, illness inducing organisms.

So, how do you provide enough oxygen to create this ideal environment for the friendly bacteria? Well, with the way we live our lives today and the ever reducing amounts of oxygen in the atmosphere the only practical way is to supplement our diet with something that will achieve this extra oxygenation we need.

OxCgen is one such supplement. It does a fantastic job of delivering much needed oxygen to the digestive system and colon. By delivering large amounts of oxygen to the right area, any impacted matter in the colon is dispersed and either flushed from the body as waste or burned and turned into energy.

Your colon is not a nice place, that is a fact! Within your colon, there is somewhere between eight and ten pounds of impacted matter that has been there for years. It is obstructing the flow through your colon by up to 80% and is preventing you from being fully nourished by what you eat. Contrary to popular belief, you are not what you eat, but you are what you assimilate.

The only way to combat this impacted matter is to oxygenate our colons. That’s what we can do. And the most effective way of doing it, the most user-friendly way of doing it, is by taking OxCgen. Taken with water between meals OxCgen capsules represent the cutting edge in activated oxygen technology. Each capsule releases over a litre of ‘activated oxygen’ into the gastrointestinal tract.

Two things to note about that statement are firstly that the term ‘activated oxygen’ refers to a combination of ozone and oxygen in optimised ratio that does all that oxygen does - but more effectively. This distinguishes the OxCgen capsules from cheaper imitations. It is important to point out here that OxCgen is not just oxygen therapy it is also ozone therapy. This is what makes the capsules truly unique, and in our view the best colon cleansing product on the market.

Some of the reported additional benefits of taking OxCgen are: Regular sleeping Patterns leading to the need for much less sleep, the brain feeling constantly energised, attention spans and concentration increase and a general feeling of wellbeing.

Users suffering from a whole host of illnesses and conditions have seen improvement too, including: Constipation, Candida, ME and Arthritis.

Oxygen is paramount in the prevention of cancer

Human Beings are aerobic - we, and everything good for us, loves oxygen. Viruses, bacteria, all pathogens and all diseases are anaerobic; that is, they cannot survive in the presence of oxygen. The exceptions to this rule can be counted on the fingers of one hand. It is now more than sixty years since Dr Otto Warburg, twice Nobel Laureate, was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1931 for discovering the cause of cancer.

In 1966 he made a speech at the annual meeting of Nobelists in Lindau, Germany. He titled his speech, The Prime Cause and Prevention of Cancer and in it he said;

“Cancer, above all other diseases, has countless secondary causes. Almost anything can cause cancer, but there is only one prime cause. Summarised in a few words, the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal cells by a fermentation of sugar. All normal cells meet their energy needs by the respiration of oxygen whereas cancer cells meet their energy needs in great part by fermentation. All normal cells are thus obligate aerobes, whereas all cancer cells are partial anaerobes. From the standpoint of the physics and chemistry of life, this difference between normal and cancer cells is so great that one can scarcely picture a greater difference. Oxygen gas, the donor of energy in plants and animals, is dethroned in the cancer cells and replaced by an energy-yielding reaction of the lowest living forms.”

Your cells need energy. They will do anything to get it. They prefer oxygen but if that isn’t available they will revert thirteen stages in evolution and feed off sugars instead. That fermentation process inside the body is what we call cancer.
